There are two biggest boy bands in the world and yet one will always be better. Many of you have heard of BTS and One Direction. You know who they are regardless if you're a fan. There are many sources out there that show who is better. BTS is proven to be better than One Direction in many ways. In the first post, the author of  The Richest  compared both groups logistically from their achievements to popularity. The author uses logos rhetoric throughout the article, showing us which group has more. One Direction and BTS have been known for being the "greatest boy band of all time." Both groups have many streams and yet, they release different types of music. One Direction has released more pop-rock music while BTS released more K-pop, pop, hip-hop, R&B, and EDM.  In this article from  AMHS Newspaper , they talked about how 1D was formed and what they have done to promote their songs. The author is very playful in her article, she uses humor to be more relatable and she adds personal notes as if 1D members are reading her article. For example, "Zayn...this is not a threat...but sleep with one eye open/ Disclaimer: Zayn if you're reading this, I'm not serious. I would die for you. Kisses forever. Congrats on the baby!" I think it's fun to read her article because I had the same reaction as her when I read what she wrote. Growing up with social media, most of you have probably heard of these two groups, One Direction and BTS. One Direction is a boy group created on X-Factor, created by Judges Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, and Louis Walsh on July 23, 2010, while BTS is a South Korean boy group that debuted on June 13, 2013, by Bang Si-Hyuk. One Direction consists of five members: Louis, Liam, Niall, Harry, and Zayn while BTS has seven members in the group: RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. In the article from The Richest , they talked about how both parties and compared them logistically. For example, "One Direction had a net worth of 398 million when they disbanded in 2015...BTS, on the other hand, has a net worth of $450 million." So off the bat, BTS is better in the sense that they made more sales than One Direction and continue to gain more money considering 1D is "on hiatus" while BTS is still together.
